Terrible Contractor is a service of Assured Law, a law firm in Henderson, Nevada. It exists to do one thing well: help property owners resolve disputes with contractors and builders.
How we work

Contractor disputes follow patterns. The same handful of facts decide most of them, and the same remedies apply again and again. By concentrating on this one area, we can review a file quickly, tell an owner plainly where they stand, and handle the common paths efficiently.
We represent owners
Homeowners, owners of rental and commercial property, and homeowners associations. We do not represent contractors under this brand.
We start with facts
Every matter begins with the documents: the contract, the plans, the payments, and an independent inspection. If the facts are not there, we say so.
We are direct about fit
Smaller disputes usually belong in small claims court, and we will tell you that and point you to our self-help tools. Matters with unlicensed contractors are usually not ones we can help with.
We define the scope
Most of our work is done as limited-scope, fixed-fee engagements with a written agreement that says exactly what is included.
